Sig’s dream came true! The coffee cart
“Sig-Café & Meaning"
סיג - קפה ומשמעות | Ramat Hadassah is now open!
The coffee cart is a social initiative born out of a dream, faith and love for people, carried in Sigal’s heart.
You are warmly invited 🫶🏻
Our Vision
Our vision - as family and friends - is to continue Sigal’s path and legacy. We strive to strengthen the Ramat Hadassah coffee cart and to establish additional carts based on this model, giving at risk youth the opportunities Sigal dreamed of for them.
From the immense pain of October 7th, and from our personal loss, we believe that something good can still grow.
Not only in Sigal’s memory - but thanks to her vision and her belief in youth.
This project grows and develops thanks to people and organizations who choose to join this journey.
We welcome collaborations, professionals who can share their time and expertise, and contributions that will help us continue and expand the project.

We All Have Dreams
Dreams we whisper only to those closest to us. We imagine them, share them, hope for them
wishing that one day they will come true.
Sigal had such a dream.
But Sigal didn’t just dream - she believed.
She believed that change was possible.
She believed that a better future could be built for boys and girls.
She believed that youth must be given the opportunity and the tools to grow, to believe in themselves,
and to take responsibility for their own future.

Sigal’s Dream
Sigal worked and volunteered with at-risk youth, and she felt that in every framework she was part of - something was missing. Beyond listening, and beyond educational or financial help, young people lacked a space where they could truly experience, grow, and believe in themselves.
Her dream was to create a coffee shop run by teenagers - a place that would offer them more than just a salary. A place of responsibility, values, and belonging.
Sigal was murdered at the Nova music festival on October 7th and never had the chance to fulfill her dream.

From Dream to Reality
During the shiva, family and friends gathered and each shared their personal story with Sigal about this dream. It became clear to all of us - this was not just an idea, it was her willing.
From that understanding, the initiative "סיג-קפה ומשמעות" “Sig-Café & Meaning” was born - a social coffee cart that gives at-risk youth a real opportunity to integrate into their community by providing service and meaningful work.
Sig-Café & Meaning - Ramat Hadassah
The first “Sig-Café & Meaning” cart operates at the Ramat Hadassah youth village, in partnership with the amazing and dedicated staff of the village.
The cart is run by teenagers from the village, guided by Roee, one of the village counselors. It is open three days a week, and students work there without harming their studies.
Together with the staff, the youth are full partners in operating the cart: improving revenues, organizing community evenings, expanding the menu, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Despite the challenges, the students share a deep sense of pride and meaning in their work.
One of the students, writing on behalf of the team, summed it up:
“The most accurate sentence to describe this dream is: ‘Dreams are meant to come true.’
Sigal was an inspiration. When we heard her story, each of us was deeply moved and asked ourselves - how can one persongive so much goodness to the world without asking for anything in return?
Sigal, of blessed memory, was full of love and carried a dream. We, the youth running the cart together with her amazing family, took a step forward and brought her dream to life.
Never give up on your dream - speak it, share it, create it, and make it real, because maybe tomorrow will not come.
With love, your Sig team 🫶.”
